Our roots in the spice business reach back over 50 years. We are a second-generation family-owned business with a history of high standards and commitment to our customers and supply partners.
Our journey began when Brock Buchanan travelled to Tanzania in the late 1960s, a trip that sowed the seeds for the founding of Buchanan Trading almost 20 years later.
Not only did he meet his wife Delphine, co-founder of the business, but it was in Tanzania where he had his first exposure to the spice trade.
Today, Brock and Delphine's daughter Holly, continues to build the family legacy. With an expanded scope and personalized approach, we now operate as Buchanan Global Ingredients.
Holly Buchanan leads the team with a heartfelt commitment to integrity of product and relationships in harmony with practices that promote sustainability.
